RAFFLE TICKETS
This coming semester, Revelstoke Acrobats Gymnastics Club will be introducing a $100 volunteer commitment fee per athlete. As a non-profit club, we rely on fundraising to help keep program fees as accessible as possible, and this raffle is a key part of that effort.
How the volunteer fee works
A $100 volunteer fee/ athlete will be added to your family’s account at the time of registration. Each family will be asked to sell an allocation of raffle tickets during the semester as their volunteer activity. Raffle ticket booklets will be available for pick-up at your child’s first class of the new semester. Once you have:
sold your tickets, and returned all ticket stubs (The deadline for returning tickets is Feb 25th), your $100 volunteer fee will be transferred to the BC Gaming account.
Families who would prefer to purchase the tickets themselves for a chance to win can put their own name on the ticket and their volunteer deposit will be transferred to the Gaming Account. Families who prefer not to participate in raffle ticket sales as their volunteer activity may contact us directly to arrange an alternative volunteer activity.
About the raffle
The raffle is conducted under BC Gaming Event Licence issued to Revelstoke Acrobats Gymnastic Club.
Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia.
Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.
All raffle proceeds will go to supporting club programs and activities in accordance with the purposes approved on our BC Gaming licence.
